GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to all verbal offers, contracts or agreements made
between VianaSailing and any other professional or private party.
These terms and conditions also apply to coaches who work or are employed by
VianaSailing for any projects, clinics or programs.
Book a clinic / coaching and payment
The reservation must be made through our website www.vianasailing.pt or by e-mail. At the end of the online application form, you may be able to pay the fee directly. There is also the possibility to pay later by invoice. Payments must be received at least 7 days before the start of the service.
Pre-race and regatta are usually days in a row, unless otherwise stated, it is not possible to pay per day. VianaSailing has the right to cancel a clinic / regatta if the minimum number of registrations has not been received 30 days before the start date.
Cancellation Policy
In case the customer wants to cancel a reservation, we have the following options:
– Full refund of the payment when the clinic / regatta and / or charter event is canceled at least 45 days before the start date of the service.
– 50% refund of the payment when the clinic / coaching and / or charter is canceled between 45 and 15 days before the start date of the service.
– There will be no refund after cancellation within 15 days from the start date of the clinic / coaching event and / or charter. In exceptional circumstances, VianaSailing may offer an alternative solution.
Refund Policy
After payment of the invoice VianaSailing assumes that the customer has agreed to the terms and conditions of the company. VianaSailing is not obliged to reimburse the invoice after the start of the service, unless management believes that there is justification. In this case, it will always be VianaSailing to define the criteria for reimbursement.
General safety and insurance policy
Each sailor participates entirely at his own risk. The boaters must have valid insurance and be in good health. All sailors must wear a personal flotation device and have appropriate clothing for the conditions. VianaSailing shall not be liable for any damage to equipment or personnel. By participating in a clinic / regatta VianaSailing will be authorized to use and display videos and photos. Customers who do not wish to be photographed and / or filmed must inform VianaSailing at the time of booking or in writing prior to the start of the activity. By participating in a clinic / regatta VianaSailing may require you to wear appropriate clothing at the opening or award ceremonies.
Personal Objectives
VianaSailing can not be held liable for any loss or damage to any personal belongings while participating in the company’s services. Make sure your valuables are kept in a safe place.
Disrespectful Behavior
Customers are required to be considerate of the other customers participating in the event. If, in VianaSailing’s reasonable opinion, a customer or any member of you is behaving or behaving in a manner that causes danger to third parties or property damage, VianaSailing shall have the right to, without prior notice, expel that customer immediately. No refund will be made and the customer is responsible for any damages caused.
Data Protection
Personal information requested by VianaSailing at the time of booking or any subsequent information is kept in its original form and on the computer. VianaSailing is the Data Controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act of 2018 and will process your data in accordance with the Act. VianaSailing will not disclose your information to third parties. By providing us with your information to process a reservation, you agree that your personal information may include:
- Analyzed by the authorized team of VianaSailing
- Used to contact you in the future, by e-mail or mail, to send newsletters and general information
The client may exercise the right to cancel the receipt of newsletters by sending an email
with the subject “CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION” to vianasailingperformance@gmail.com
